About me

Who I Am

I’m Vaggelis, and I help travelers explore the Greek islands in the most authentic way by sailing.

I’m not a yacht owner or a big booking platform. I’m an independent broker and sailing advisor who’s lived what I offer: waking up in quiet bays, eating in local tavernas only the locals know about, swimming in places you can only reach by boat.

My role is to help you find the right yacht, suggest the best routes based on the weather and your style, and make the whole experience as easy, personal, and unforgettable as possible.

My connection with the sea and the islands

I grew up in Aegina, right by the sea. From a young age, I was sailing around the Greek islands — not as a tourist, but as a traveler who wanted to truly get to know each place.

What I love most is the freedom and calm that sailing gives you: diving where there are no roads, sleeping anchored in a quiet bay, enjoying the sun and sea far from the crowds.

That connection with the sea is exactly what I want to share with the people who trust me with their trip.

Why I started Punto

I founded Punto Voyage in 2023, based in Aegina, an island that has shaped the way I see hospitality and simplicity.

I created Punto because I realized that many travelers wanted to experience sailing in Greece, but needed more than just a list of available boats. They needed someone who could organize the entire experience: from choosing the right yacht, to suggesting routes based on weather, time, and preferences, to arranging extra services that make a trip truly memorable.

With a background in hospitality and travel planning, I started Punto as a person-to-person service where every trip is tailored and nothing is left to chance.

I help you avoid hidden costs, tourist traps, and mismatched options. I match each group with the yacht that fits best in size, comfort, and budget, and I coordinate with local boat owners, skippers, and partners to make sure everything runs smoothly.

But more than that, I offer honest guidance. I explain what’s worth seeing, when it’s best to go, and what to expect, so your expectations align with reality.

This is not a platform. It’s a service built on real communication, good planning, and local insight.

And that’s why I still personally review every request and plan each trip with the same care I would if it were my own.

What I Offer – And Why It’s Different

Most people don’t know where to start when it comes to planning a sailing trip in Greece.

That’s where I come in.

I help you:

  • Choose the right yacht for your group and budget (sailboat, catamaran, motor yacht).

  • Pick the best route based on your travel dates and the weather.

  • Discover local tavernas, quiet bays, and island villages worth stopping for.

  • Avoid tourist traps and hidden fees.

Let’s Plan Your Trip

Planning a sailing holiday in Greece can feel overwhelming — so many routes, boats, and details to consider.

That’s where I come in.

If you’re thinking about a trip, send me a message. I’ll help you figure out what kind of yacht fits your group, which islands match your dates, and how to make the most of your time at sea.

No bots, no pressure — just honest advice from someone who’s been there.
