YOUR DATA

Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data I collect when you visit puntovoyage.com or ask me to plan a trip, why I need it, and what you can ask me to do with it.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Who is responsible

Punto Voyage, Aegina, Greece. Email: info@puntovoyage.com. For any question about your data, write to this address.

What I collect

• What you send me: your name, email, phone if you give it, travel dates, group size and anything else you write in the form or in an email.

• Booking details: if you book, the charter company needs the names of the guests and sometimes passport or ID details for the crew list required by the port authority. I only ask for these when a booking is confirmed.

• Website usage: basic statistics about visits (pages viewed, device, approximate location) and, only if you accept marketing cookies, data for Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising.

I never store your card details.

Why I use it

• To answer your request and prepare a proposal (your request, before a contract).

• To book and run your trip with the charter company, skipper and other providers (performance of a contract).

• To keep records required by Greek tax and accounting law (legal obligation).

• To understand how the website is used and improve it (legitimate interest, or your consent where cookies require it).

I do not sell your data and I do not send newsletters unless you ask for them.

Who I share it with

Only with the people needed to plan and run your trip: the charter company that manages the yacht, your skipper and, if you ask for them, transfer, provisioning or activity providers. The website itself relies on a few service providers:

• Hostinger – web hosting.

• Google – website statistics (Google Analytics via the Google tag) and Google Fonts.

• Meta – the Meta Pixel, loaded only after you accept marketing cookies.

• CookieYes – stores your cookie choices.

• hCaptcha – protects the forms from spam.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. They do so under the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the site working. Statistics and marketing cookies are used only according to the choice you make in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link on the site.

How long I keep it

Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted after two years at the latest. Booking and invoice records are kept for as long as Greek tax law requires. You can ask me to delete your data earlier whenever the law allows it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, receive a copy of it, or object to its use. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@puntovoyage.com and I will reply within one month.

If you think your data has been handled wrongly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
